Fire Fighting

We specially designed this programme to introduce trainees to the duties and responsibilities of a Fire Fighting Team & Fire Warden, and to obtain the necessary skills of fire safety, prevention and risk assessment. This course provides awareness of the danger of fire, guidance in the use of extinguishers and how to carry out the fire routine procedures

• Understand different types of fire extinguisher
• Demonstrate the use of the fire extinguisher promptly
• Demonstrate the ability to manage small fire, safely and effectively
• Plan and prepare effective emergency plans
• Develop the hierarchy of commands
• Understand Evacuation & Emergency response procedures
• Lead and contribute directly in the event of emergency

Report Writing

This Report Writing Training Program teaches security officers how to write a report narrative, techniques for taking notes in the field and the importance of writing comprehensive reports. The Program includes the instructor’s manual with both report training Report Writing and Writing Reports. Although the names are similar each video approaches writing reports with different points of view.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

By simply paying attention to three basic principles of communications; speaking, listening, and body language, one can enhance their opportunity for a successful career in the security industry. As a speaker, one must consider several factors that will provide a better opportunity for them to be heard and understood

Emergency System &
Control Room

This programmes includes theoretical lectures, workshops and practical participation in realistic scenarios designed by BESST Group to shape the ability to apply knowledge in problem solving during emergency situations.

The course is aimed at selected employees of the customer, who are prepared to fulfil the role and implement control measures as safety coordinators.

For the purposes of the simulation of emergency situations we use a proprietary computer program that faithfully reflects similar systems used in industry standard Distributed Control Systems - DCS.

The duration of the training is discussed and agreed directly with the customer and adapted to client preferences.

Courses are usually divided into 25% theory and, 75% practical work.

Training can be conducted both in Polish and English.

The course includes the following elements:

• Interpretation of alarms
• Recording of events and communication of changes
• Process and Emergency Shutdown Systems in for emergency situations (PSD, ESD)
• Fire and Gas Systems (F&G)
• Crisis Management - the roles and responsibilities of the Control Room Operator
• Stressful situations and action under pressure

Security Officer
